The prestigious magazine Elle held its annual Beauty Awards a few weeks ago, handing out prizes to recognize this past year’s stand-outs in fashion and trends.

This year, the event was held at the famous Sokos Department Store in Helsinki, Finland. More than 2,000 guests were in attendance to toast the winners in a number of different categories related to fashion, trends, and lifestyle.

This year, Sokos offered those present a glamorous VIP area, where a number of important members of Finnish society spent time, including Aira Samulin, Anne Kukkohovi, Kristiina Komulainen, Mariela Sarkima, Kaarina Kivilahti, Hanna Sumari, Pirjo Honkanen and Jaana Ukkola.

Also present in the VIP area were high-level executives of brands such as L’Oreal, Shiseido, and Swarovski, who had the opportunity to taste the refreshing flavor of Fresita Sparkling Wine first-hand.
At the event, which was animated by the gorgeous voice of Kim Herold, the six brands of cosmetics that received the most votes were awarded prizes; the other winners received certificates of honorable mention, along with a bottle of Fresita.

This was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of the fashion world in 2012, so of course Fresita had to be present!

The Beverly Hilton, that’s right, the very same hotel where the Golden Globes Awards have been held every year since 1961, was the venue for the glamorous Beverly Hills Wine Festival 2012, where more than 100 wineries presented the very best their cellars had to offer!

For the second year in a row, Fresita was a star attraction, providing the festival’s visitors a chance to try the unique taste of its Premium Chilean sparkling wine and handpicked strawberries. Our delicious Fresita, with its natural bubbles, was a must for all visitors to the Festival, attracting over five hundred people to sample this amazing sparkling wine.

Where the most exclusive parties take place, like one recently hosted by former “Girl Next Door” Kendra Wilkinson. Mandalay Bay, which hosted the Latin Grammy Awards just four months ago, is one of Las Vegas’ most prestigious addresses.

One of Mandalay Bay’s main attractions, its 4.4 hectare artificial beach—with real sand—is where guests will be able to taste the fresh, delicious flavor of Fresita Sparkling Wine. That’s right: the Chilean  sparkling wine will be available there during the northern hemisphere spring and summer.

What better way to enjoy those sunny, relaxing Las Vegas afternoons than with a refreshing glass of Fresita? We’ll drink to that!

Amidst lights, Hollywood stars, and the glamour of the movies, festival organizers threw a “French Party”—one of the most highly anticipated events of the festival—at Lucy House. The very best of the evening, which gave the party a touch of mystery and excitement, was a sparkling wine from the south of the world: Fresita.

Fashion, style, and beauty were the order of the evening for Vancouver brides-to-be. They were accompanied at all times by the expert Randy Fenoli—Kleinfeld Fashion Director and star of the TLC program “Say Yes to the Dress.”

Fenoli, also made a presentation entitled “It’s All About the Dress,” explained his role in the event in the following way: “Every woman is beautiful, and it’s my job to find the perfect dress that shows off the natural beauty of each and every one of them.”

The guests at the event were able to try out a number of different beauty treatments, as well as style tips from different well-known designers and other experts. And, to top it all off, they were able to enjoy the bubbly, glamorous flavor of Fresita Sparkling Wine—a Chilean spumante with natural strawberry pulp—available in every corner of the event.

Thanks to the high temperatures of the Chilean summertime, the ladies met at a rooftop bar twenty stories above the city of Santiago, where they enjoyed the gorgeous views, along with cutting-edge Fresita-based drinks.

There were cocktails of different colors and flavors, from fresh and citrusy to daring and tropical. It was an explosion of flavors and bubbles that these ladies wouldn’t soon forget!

Our invited guests were also able to enjoy different kinds of chocolates, marshmallows, and seasonal fruits that were paired with the different cocktails. Meanwhile, the DJ Catalina Olivos brightened the atmosphere with background music.

The passion of Spanish cuisine and that certain je ne sais quoi of Italian cooking came together for the opening night of the new event space Casa Bianca.

Over 700 invited guests enjoyed flamenco dance performances and live music throughout the evening. But the night hardly would have been complete without the delicious, unparalleled natural flavor of Fresita Sparkling Wine.

Bubbly glasses of Fresita brought a certain sweetness to the conversation, and filled the 7000 square meters of Casa Bianca—the perfect space to celebrate any important event—with the pleasant aroma of strawberries.

A night of sophistication, style, lights, and design—a perfect night, and a Fresita Moment to remember.

Souza, known for her participation in a series of albums made in homage to the Rolling Stones—called “Bossa N Stones”—captivated the more than 600 audience members present with her soft voice and melodic songs. The public enjoyed a show that mixed elements of jazz, bossa nova, soul, pop, and carioca music, and included songs from her recent album “Essentials,” with covers from bands known throughout the world.

But this event wasn’t just about the music. Since this occasion also marked the reopening of the theatre where Souza was performing, there was a small cocktail party as well, at which everyone present was able to enjoy Fresita.

Our drink’s exquisite mix of natural strawberries and sparkling wine was a big hit with Souza’s fans, who enjoyed its sweet freshness. Plus, all the ladies present received a free gift of Fresita flavored lip gloss—the perfect all-terrain necessity for any purse!

My iPhone and headphones, because I can make use of the time it takes to get where I’m going by listening to music. Plus, if I have to wait somewhere, I can check my email, read, or write something. I can’t stand to waste time.

-What’s your secret for getting the guy?

-Having a conversation and being able to listen.

-What’s a dream you’ve had that you’re going to make come true?

-Going to Easter Island.

-What’s your ideal place and soundtrack for a moment of pure relaxation, and who would you spend it with?

I like coming home happy after a good concert. I plop myself onto the couch, take off my shoes, and tell my family about the show. I’m the kind of person who likes to hear things over and over, so ideally I’d listen to the whole setlist of the band I just heard over again, this time in the comfort of my own home. It’s an absolutely exquisite way to relax.

The beautiful feminine forms of the Vancouver Ballet and the glamour of Fresita were the perfect match for one another at an end-of-September gala celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Vancouver Ballet Society.
The event took place at Hycroft Manner, one of Canada’s most stylish palaces and currently the home of the University Women’s Club.

It was the perfect venue to spend an enjoyable evening listening to classical music, watching the intricate movements of the ballet students, and sipping delicious glasses of Fresita, which sponsored the gala.

The evening’s master of ceremonies, the renowned Canadian radio personality, humorist, writer, and columnist Bill Richardson, as well as Evelyn Hart, the former prima ballerina of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and more than a hundred guests who offered contributions to a scholarship fund for ballet students, all had a relaxing time, which was made complete by the bubbly flavor of Fresita.

It was a night to remember, full of Fresita Moments!
